Exams, Harry Potter, bitchy friends and annoying laptops.
Well finally.

I had the last of my exams today. I am now free, well at least until February anyway. I think that I did ok in two of my exams, FOM’s which I had today and it is also easily my best subject and English Lit. which I don’t usually do that well in and totally bombed out in the last exam, 6 months ago but this time I think I did ok. I thought that I’d done really well in last semesters one as well but I didn’t en nearly pass but I am pretty confident this time. I don’t particularly want to get a good mark, I just want to pass. Passing would be nice. In Chemistry I know I bombed. I don’t understand half the stuff that we do in that class but I’m ok with that, I’m not doing it next year and ever since I decided that I haven’t really tried all that hard with it, so really it’s my own fault that I bombed this exam. History was ok and I think that I did ok in the document studies but I know that my essays were really, really, really, really bad. It will be interesting to get my results. I’m just glad that it’s all over for this year; don’t really have to worry about school now until next year now. The only problem with next year is that I’m going to have to do seven exams instead of the four I did this year.

Anyway on a happier note, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire comes out in Australia today and I might actually be going to see it. Mothers going to ring up to see if there are any tickets left for tonight. YAY for me. Just in case you didn’t know, I am a diehard Harry Potter fan but believe it or not I actually borderline hate the movies. They have managed to take out just about every one of my favourite parts, don’t you hate it when they do that. I’m not sure if that parts are loved as much before they don’t go into the movie but they probably aren’t and that’s why they are taken out. It isn’t usually big parts that are taken out, just the little things that you can’t help but love, so maybe it is that you did love just as much before and not just because they were taken out when the movie was being made.

Another random movie book thing that I’ve found is that if I see a movie before I’ve read the book I don’t enjoy the book as much as I probably would have if I’d read it first. Like with Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt I saw the movie first and then read the book and I definitely did not enjoy the book as much as I did the movie. The whole storyline / plot was pretty much the same but I think that little things like age changes and the time in which it was set. The same thing happened with Timeline and A Walk to Remember, saw the movie then read the book. Both movies were better than the books. Or maybe the movies are simply just a whole lot better than the books sometimes.

Back to the sad, mildly depressing note, one of my friends is having a party and hasn’t invited me which is very annoying but I guess I should be used to it by now. They have always left me out of things, great friends aren’t they?

I have to go now. I’m at school and it is about time for me to be returning this laptop. God, I HATE laptops.

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month.
