The rose is something to cherish, something to hold close. It holds many meanings, such as the beginning and ending of life. At a wedding, the rose is the traditional flower. It symbolises the joining of two people and the beginning of a new life. They are also used at funerals, for then they symbolise the ending of a being’s life and the beginning of their eternity, whether it be in heaven or hell.
I hold the rose dear because if all the tragedies I have been through; family dying, my own personal loses, and other things I have endured throughout my life. It also gives me hope. Each and every rose has its own vibe, but all of them give me hope. When I see a rose, I think of the future. I think of where or what I could be, but no matter where or what I am, even when all else fails and my dreams come crashing down before me, I will always know that I have hope by my side, along with my friends and family that have always heard my cries for desperation.
